Fleetwood Mac TicketsFans of soft rock, blues, and blues rock everywhere are familiar with the soothing and upbeat sounds with Fleetwood Mac tickets. One of the longest-running bands in music still active today, Fleetwood Mac has managed remarkable staying power throughout the decades despite numerous changes in the makeup of the band. Fleetwood Mac is considered a British-American rock band that plays a variety of rock, soft rock, blues, blues rock, and pop rock music. The group was originally formed in London, England in 1967 by its namesake Mick Fleetwood and Peter Green. The credit for naming the group goes to Green who combined the names of Mick Fleetwood and former John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers bandmate John McVie. Fleetwood Mac was named as such in an effort to draw McVie away from Mayall's group along with Green, but it didn't succeed initially.

In those early days, Fleetwood Mac tickets granted music lovers access to a group that included Fleetwood, Green, slide guitarist Jeremy Spencer, and bassist Bob Brunning. The group has experienced two great waves of success during its active years. The first wave of success came following its formation in the late 1960s as the group was able to capitalize on the British blues boom of the period. The next wave of success came between 1975 and 1987 as the group transitioned to a pop oriented sound.

The long term success and popularity of Fleetwood Mac tickets is impressive given the tumultuous ups and downs of the bands member list and active recording schedule. Drummer and percussionist Mick Fleetwood is the only member of the band that has appeared with the group since its founding in 1967. Peter Green left the group for good in 1971, as did fellow original member Jeremy Spencer and Bob Brunning. Three former members of the band have since died. Brunning died in 2011, while former members Bob Welch (1971-1974) and Bob Weston (1972 & 1973) both died in 2012.

The band did go through a brief and total breakup from 1995 to 1997, although certain members still performed together for private events during that period of time. To date, Fleetwood Mac has released a total of 17 studio albums, with the most recent being released in 2003. Many of the group's recent work has been focused on touring and the release of compilation records. Since the start of the 21st  century, the group has released three compilation albums with the most recent hitting retail shelves in 2013.
